What has been the effect of the war on terror in the US? The effect has been devastating for American Muslims. In order to justify a war on terror and have Muslims viewed as waging a war against the US, many wrong arrests and false charges were levied against American Muslims by the government. These false charges and arrests were publicized widely and prominently in all the major news outlets. Upon trial more than 95% of the terror charges were dismissed. This vindication of Muslims received little to no publicity. The few remaining cases where Muslims were found guilty were cases involving charitable organizations and individuals helping Palestinians and sting operations where Muslims were set up by law enforcement agencies. This section will present articles dealing with the war on terror in the US. *

Many negative things are being said in the media about the religion of Al-Islam. Some of Islam's enemies has even accused the Prophet Muhammad (saaw) of being a terrorist. Others have taken Quranic verses out of context and misquote them, in order to justify an Islamic basis for terrorism. When you consider that Prophet Muhammad (saaw) taught the following regarding Muslim conduct during war, a great disparity can be seen between what he taught and the terrorism charge that Muslims and Al-Islam is being accused of today: *

Stop, O people, that I may give you ten rules for your guidance in the battlefield. Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. With the actions the U.S. and its allies are taking internationally, it has become very obvious that the so-called war on terror is actually a war against Al-Islam. Muslim countries are being attacked under false pretense and for peacefully pursuing exploration of resources in creation that the Creator has made freely available for ALL human beings. The threat of war looms over many Muslim countries. Along with that, individual rights and freedoms of Muslims are being trampled on and many innocent Muslims are being imprisoned and tortured justified by the trumped up charge of being terrorists. The plans for deliberate war against Muslims are not secret. They are carefully laid out in open strategic documents developed in the US and Israel . This section will present articles dealing with the wars fought against Muslims in Iraq , Afghanistan , Iran , Sudan , Somalia , Chechnya , Kashmir and other places. It will also feature articles exposing the persecutions and injustices faced by Muslims in western lands. *
